Event Management Professional

Job Overview: Talent Software Services, Inc. is seeking an Event Management Professional for a contract role.

Role Overview: The chosen candidate will be responsible for delivering operational and coordination support for various internal and external events across multiple business sectors.
These events are crucial and involve interaction with clients and high-level executives.
The responsibilities include managing registrations, executing events on-site, sourcing vendors and suppliers, as well as conducting venue research and negotiations.
It is essential to represent the organization with professionalism and integrity.
The selected individual will be part of a well-established, collaborative team and will work closely with various stakeholders.
Regular team meetings and training sessions will be part of the role, fostering a supportive work environment.
There is potential for extension or transition to a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional client experiences through expertly executed events and meetings.
  • Oversee the execution of internal and external conferences and events involving cross-border teams.
  • Develop and maintain event calendars and manage Cvent requirements.
  • Provide strategic guidance to clients regarding event logistics and details aligned with objectives.
  • Facilitate participation of executives and clients in events and conferences.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and client personnel during meetings, events, and conferences.
  • Offer administrative support related to online registration management and event support staff coordination.
  • Assist in creating synergies between different regional teams.
  • Ensure adherence to standards across all conferences and events.
  • Maintain quality control for all events and conferences.

Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of experience in event management or coordination.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to engage with senior executives and clients.
  • Team-oriented, motivated, self-starter with strong learning capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations and manage multiple projects under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Creative problem-solving skills with negotiation capabilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • Experience with Cvent is preferred.
  • A university degree is advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification as a Meeting Professional (CMP) or membership in Meeting Professionals International (MPI) is a strong asset.
  • Outgoing personality with comfort in face-to-face interactions.
  • Previous experience in event management within financial institutions or corporate settings.
