About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Maintenance Technician to join our team at Tyson Foods. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of our facility's refrigeration systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on refrigeration equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.
  • Conduct predictive and preventative maintenance to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Operate and maintain ammonia refrigeration systems, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
  • Assist in maintaining a relevant and accurate mechanical inventory, including ordering and stocking parts as needed.
  • Support the company's personnel and food safety programs, policies, and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in the field of mechanic work or refrigeration experience.
  • PSM experience preferred.
  • Refrigeration experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, manuals, and work orders.
