Position Summary:

We are currently in search of a Cyber Systems Engineer III to contribute to our initiatives.

This role will primarily focus on supporting the Diadem Program Team within the SIGINT Technology Center (STC). The STC merges technology and teamwork to address the distinct requirements of the Intelligence Community and the Department of Defense. It encompasses various mission-driven programs, with projects ranging from the development of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) SIGINT payloads and data links to mission and maintenance support both domestically and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design, integration, testing, and documentation of hardware components, Line Replaceable Units (LRUs), and high-level systems.
  • Support the operational and maintenance activities of deployed SIGINT systems.
  • Collaborate with a diverse engineering team to enhance and optimize both developmental and operational systems to ensure maximum uptime and functionality.
  • Develop and implement troubleshooting protocols for use in various test environments and real-time operations.
  • Engage and collaborate with clients, end-users, operators, and Field Service Representatives for support and expertise.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A qualified candidate must possess a STEM degree; 8 years of experience with an Associate's degree; 5 years with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years with a Master's degree.
  • An active TS/SCI clearance is required.
  • Proficiency with electrical testing and measurement equipment.
  • Experience in hardware design, testing, and integration.
  • Willingness to provide support at customer site locations as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Systems Engineering.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.
  • Willingness to travel domestically.
  • Familiarity with networking and system architecture.
  • Experience in cable design and testing.
  • Knowledge of operations and maintenance of SIGINT/EW systems.
  • Proficiency with schematic design tools (e.g., Mentor Graphics, Zuken).
  • Understanding of SIGINT/EW systems and workflows.
  • Knowledge of interferometry, TDOA/FDOA, ranging systems, and geolocation principles.
  • Familiarity with telemetry systems.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is between $118,000 - $177,000. This range serves as a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers various factors when determining salary offers, including the scope of responsibilities, candidate experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay, designed to reward individual contributions and allow employees to participate in company results. Employees in senior positions may qualify for Long Term Incentives. Furthermore, Northrop Grumman offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, life and disability insurance, savings plans, paid holidays, and paid time off for personal and vacation purposes.
