Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Cyber Systems Engineer III to contribute to our dynamic team.

This role will be primarily based in a strategic location and will focus on supporting the Diadem Program Team within the SIGINT Technology Center (STC). The STC integrates technology and collaboration to address the distinct requirements of the Intelligence Community and the Department of Defense. It encompasses various mission-driven initiatives, with projects that include the development of SIGINT payloads and data links for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), as well as mission and maintenance support both domestically and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design, integration, testing, and documentation of hardware components, Line Replaceable Units (LRUs), and comprehensive systems.
  • Support the operations and maintenance of deployed SIGINT systems.
  • Work alongside a multidisciplinary engineering team to enhance and upgrade both developmental and operational systems to optimize performance and capabilities.
  • Develop and implement troubleshooting protocols for use in various testing environments and real-time operations.
  • Engage and collaborate with clients, end-users, operators, and Field Service Representatives for on-call support and expertise.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A qualified candidate must possess a STEM degree; with 8 years of experience with an Associate's degree, 5 years with a Bachelor's degree, or 3 years with a Master's degree.
  • An active TS/SCI clearance is required.
  • Experience with electrical testing and measurement tools.
  • Proficiency in hardware design, testing, and integration.
  • Willingness to provide support at customer site locations as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Systems Engineering.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.
  • Willingness to travel domestically.
  • Experience in networking and system architecture.
  • Familiarity with cable design and testing.
  • Experience in the operations and maintenance of SIGINT/EW systems and processes.
  • Knowledge of schematic design tools (e.g., Mentor Graphics, Zuken, etc.).
  • Understanding of hardware functions related to SIGINT/EW systems.
  • Knowledge of interferometry, TDOA/FDOA, ranging systems, and geolocation principles.
  • Familiarity with telemetry systems.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is between $118,000 and $177,000. This range serves as a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers various factors when determining base salary offers, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, as well as the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.

Employees may qualify for discretionary bonuses in addition to their base salary. Annual bonuses are designed to recognize individual contributions and allow employees to participate in the company's success. Employees in senior leadership roles may also be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
