POSITION SUMMARY:

The PROS Clinician, LPHA plays a vital role within the Personalized Recovery Oriented Services (PROS) framework, offering diagnostic evaluations, individualized recovery strategies, medication oversight, and both individual and group therapy for participants enrolled in the PROS initiative.

Moreover, the PROS Clinician, LPHA (Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts) possesses the authority, based on clinical practice and licensure, to endorse PROS admissions and recovery plans for participants assigned to non-LPHA designated clinicians.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Master's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field recognized for licensure eligibility. Active LMSW, LCSW, or LMHC registration in New York State is required, along with LPHA designation. A valid New York State driver's license is preferred, with an acceptable driving record (no major violations in the past five years). Completion of Mandatory Driver Education is required upon employment.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Conduct initial and ongoing assessments, counseling, and clinical interventions for a designated caseload.
  • Support PROS participants in achieving employment and other recovery objectives.
  • Facilitate individual, group, and family psychoeducation, while monitoring patient responses to psychotropic medications.
  • Engage in outreach and support efforts as necessary.
  • Focus on skill development and goal attainment, assisting participants in their recovery journey.
  • Collaborate effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary team to coordinate and deliver care.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of community resources and provide linkage to natural supports.
  • Communicate with relevant internal and external care providers to ensure comprehensive ongoing assessments and coordinated care.
  • Utilize recovery-oriented and person-centered approaches, employing person-first language when interacting with consumers and families.
  • Provide continuous support for participants in achieving their goals (e.g., employment).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Position involves Sedentary Work - exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally. This role primarily requires sitting, with occasional walking or standing for brief periods.


COMPENSATION:
$60,000 - $75,000. The stated salary range reflects a good faith estimate of potential base pay for successful candidates. Actual pay may vary based on experience, qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contractual agreements.
