POSITION SUMMARY
The PROS Clinician, LPHA plays a vital role within the Personalized Recovery Oriented Services (PROS) framework, offering diagnostic evaluations, individualized recovery planning, medication oversight, and both individual and group therapy for participants enrolled in the PROS initiative.
Moreover, the PROS Clinician, LPHA (Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts) possesses the authority, as defined by clinical practice and licensure, to sanction PROS admissions and recovery strategies for participants assigned to clinicians lacking LPHA designation.

QUALIFICATIONS
A Master's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field recognized for licensure requirements.
A valid New York State driver's license is preferred.
Must have a clean driving record - No Major or Capital violations in the past 5 years.
Completion of Mandatory Driver Education (upon employment).
Enrollment in NYS Department of Motor Vehicles License Event Notification Service (LENS) (upon employment).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct initial and ongoing assessments, provide counseling, and implement clinical interventions for a designated caseload. Assist PROS participants in achieving employment and other recovery objectives. Deliver individual, group, and family psychoeducation, while monitoring patient responses to psychotropic medications. Engage in outreach and support as necessary. Focus on skill development, goal attainment, and aiding participants in their recovery journey.
Actively participate as a member of an interdisciplinary team to coordinate and deliver comprehensive care. Demonstrate knowledge of and facilitate connections with community resources and natural supports. Maintain communication with relevant internal and external care providers to ensure continuous assessment and coordinated care.
Utilize recovery-oriented and person-centered approaches, incorporating person-first language when interacting with consumers and families. Provide ongoing support to participants in achieving their goals (e.g., employment).
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
S - Sedentary Work - Involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally. Sedentary roles typically require sitting most of the time, with occasional walking or standing for brief periods.
Positions are classified as sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.COMPENSATION RANGE:
$60,000 - $75,000.00
The stated salary range represents a good faith estimate of the potential base pay for successful candidates. It may be subject to future adjustments. Compensation is determined by factors such as experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contractual agreements.
