Hunt Electric, Inc. is actively seeking a full-time Licensed Industrial Electrical Supervisor to enhance our Industrial Division. This role requires expertise in planning, designing, organizing, and executing electrical construction projects. Are you adaptable to evolving codes, regulations, and safety standards? Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage teams while providing essential training and constructive feedback.
  • Plan and organize project layouts, including material take-offs and tool requirements based on the project timeline.
  • Develop a site-specific safety strategy and assess project risks to ensure personnel and equipment safety.
  • Review and implement installations according to contract specifications and drawings.
  • Collaborate with project management to evaluate the contracted scope of work and address change requests.
  • Coordinate the timely arrival of materials, equipment, and labor to the job site.
  • Monitor daily progress against schedules and document activities and challenges.
  • Participate in project meetings and facilitate necessary trade coordination.
  • Communicate with project management and purchasing teams regarding material requisitions and delivery timelines.
  • Implement project-specific prefabrication tasks.
  • Maintain a valid Driver's License.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Possession of a current Utah Journeyman license.
  • A minimum of five years of installation experience with current electrical codes and methods.
  • Ability to apply modern technological techniques to enhance safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating tact and diplomacy.
  • Basic proficiency in computer applications such as Outlook, Bluebeam, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience in sectors such as food and beverage, manufacturing, automation, or wastewater treatment.
  • Proven track record of successfully supervising teams ranging from 2 to 50 personnel while achieving safety and quality objectives.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with electrical and electronic systems, including lighting systems.
  • Knowledge of MHSA & OHSA Standards.
  • Experience with cable tray systems, heat trace, conduit bending, and motor control centers.
  • Capability to troubleshoot electrical issues and develop effective repair strategies.
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively.
  • Competence in reading and interpreting electrical plans and schematics.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks requiring strength and mobility.
