Clinical Opportunities in Health Services

The Division of Hematology, Medical Oncology and Palliative Care seeks a clinician in Health Services research to collaborate on active research and build clinical and/or translational research in the division, with a focus on independent extramural funding. Responsibilities include direct patient care, outreach service, and protected time for research and teaching. We seek candidates in sub-specialties such as Central Nervous System, genitourinary or gastrointestinal tumors or sarcomas.

Key Responsibilities:

* Direct patient care, ambulatory, inpatient and consult service (60%)
* Outreach service at approved UW Health locations, as well as inpatient call coverage
* Protected time to develop a research program or teaching program and engage in scholarly activities (40%)
* Teaching medical students, residents, and fellows within the context of your clinical practice
* Supporting diversity in clinical trial participants
* Administrative and committee work to support the clinical and scholarly missions of UW Health and the School of Medicine and Public Health.
