The University of Wisconsin Madison is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Clinical Research Nurse to join their team. With a strong background in nursing and clinical research, this individual will play a crucial role in coordinating clinical research studies for the Department of Pediatrics.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in research logistic management, screens study participants, and provides participant information and clinical care according to established research plans to ensure accuracy of research.
  • Secures and schedules logistics for clinical research projects according to the research plan.
  • Recruits and screens subjects for clinical studies by conducting physical health assessments.
  • Provides professional nursing care to patients according to established protocols.
  • Provides appropriate treatment plan direction and information to study participants.
  • Serves as main point of contact and liaison to project participants, investigators, research sponsors, and the research team delivering study information in accordance with established research project standards and protocols.
  • Collects, verifies, and enters data into database and analyzes clinical information data.
  • Serves as primary point of contact for emergent study participant situations related to adverse effects or complications of the study.
  • May provide expertise, training, and guidance to the community, peers, and/or students.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical setting.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Clinical Research Certification or Clinical Research Nurse Certification.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization.
  • Ability to independently and creatively problem solve.

Estimated Salary Range:

$68,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications.
