As a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Radiology and Interventional Services at University Hospital, you will be part of a highly skilled team that delivers exceptional patient care. We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with a passion for providing high-quality care in a dynamic environment.

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and experienced RN to join our team of healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering patient-centered care. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain expertise in radiology and interventional services, staying up-to-date on the latest procedures and technologies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including referring physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide direct patient care, assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, and developing plans to address these needs.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher preferred.
  • At least 6 months of nursing experience, preferably in an inpatient setting or as a participant in UW Health's Nurse Residency Program.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or compact state.
Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is approximately $78,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. As a UW Health employee, you will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, retirement plans, and more.
