At UW Health, we are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and strive to be a leader in quality and safety. As a Medical Lab Technician Float, you will play an essential role in achieving this goal by providing accurate diagnostic and treatment information.

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory science and excellent decision-making skills. This is a full-time, 1st shift position with hours from Monday to Friday, primarily between 7:45am - 5:30pm. While occasional evenings may be required, no holidays, on-call, or weekends are necessary.

The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. External hires may also be eligible for up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and retirement savings plans.

To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of an Associate degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology. Preferred qualifications include one year of experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician or relevant laboratory experience. Certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or similar agency is also desirable.
