Responsibilities
  • Provide physical therapy services to patients under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
  • Assist Physical Therapists in identifying patients who require rehabilitation services.
  • Document patient progress and obtain co-signatures from Physical Therapists.
  • Ensure that medical orders are obtained for treatments, recertifications, and discharges.
  • Complete all required documentation as indicated by state guidelines.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited college with an A.S. in Physical Therapist Assistant recognized by the APTA.
  • Current license and/or registration as a Physical Therapist Assistant in-state as applicable.
