About this role:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team at Wells Fargo. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining both the front-end and back-end of our websites and applications.

Your primary focus will be on designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient software solutions that meet the needs of our customers. You will work closely with our designers, product teams, and other developers to ensure that our systems are consistent and meet the highest standards of quality.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Writing clean, functional, and reusable code for both front-end and back-end systems
  • Collaborating with designers to turn mockups into user interfaces
  • Optimizing web design for mobile responsiveness
  • Implementing new features and fixing bugs in existing code
  • Testing and debugging your own code developments
  • Creating test data and conducting interfaces and unit tests
  • Working with the development team to ensure system consistency
  • Working closely with designers, product teams, and other developers
  • Demonstrating strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Possessing excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding emerging technologies and best practices

Requirements include:

  • 4 years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 2 years of Python experience
  • 2 years of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end development

Desired qualifications include:

  • 2 years of User Interface experience
  • Proficient in implementing back-end functionality using Python
  • Ability to ensure site compatibility across a range of screen resolutions
  • Contribute ideas and experience to new development solutions
  • Knowledge of modern technological advancements in web apps and programming languages
  • Experience preparing documentation and reports
  • Ability to support the project after its completion and integration of updates
  • Ability to handle various tasks and responsibilities independently, working on both the client-side (user interface and user experience) and server-side (database, server, and application logic) of a project

Job expectations include:
