Position Overview
Reporting directly to the President & CEO, this role is a vital part of the hospital's executive leadership team. The individual will oversee the comprehensive management of specific hospital departments and service lines, focusing on the development and attainment of the organization's strategic, financial, and operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
The Chief Nursing Executive will engage in the formulation of patient care initiatives and hospital operations through consistent collaboration with fellow executive team members, medical staff leaders, board members, and community stakeholders.
This position also entails the responsibility of the Chief Nursing Officer, who will lead and assess the hospital's nursing care strategy.
The scope of authority encompasses all nursing units within the hospital, ensuring the establishment and execution of hospital-wide nursing standards aimed at delivering safe, effective, and therapeutic nursing care to patients and their families.
Quality Improvement
The Chief Nursing Executive is tasked with implementing a robust, ongoing program to evaluate, measure, and enhance the quality of nursing care across the hospital.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Required)
- Master's Degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration, or a related field (Required)
- Master's Degree in Nursing (Preferred)
- A minimum of eight (8) years of senior nursing management experience in acute care (Required)
- Current nursing license or eligibility (Required)
