Warehouse Operations Manager

This position is responsible for overseeing the leadership and operations of our warehouse. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and warehouse management, with the ability to ensure efficient processes and administration across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide customer service support for all documentation, tracing, and 3PL processes.
- Ensure efficient processes and administration across the organization.
- Provide back-up support to the Warehouse Supervisor in supervising all warehouse staff.
- Record all warehouse data, quality, time, and labor.
- Perform daily order processing.
- Maintain inventory and supplies.
- Ship and receive goods and materials.
- Responsible for safe forklift operation and to assist operations when needed.
- Support employees in day-to-day operations, tasks, and troubleshooting.
- Verify orders and track shipments.
- Schedule daily shipments.
- Responsible for general compliance, documentation, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
- Understand SOPs and properly institute them.
- Ensure shop rate is met while maintaining quality.
- Communicate effectively and professionally.
- Actively seek and support continuous improvement activities in process efficiencies, costs, and effectiveness of work.
- Provide attention to detail and proactively address issues in a timely manner.
- Provide continuous quality checks and alert management to issues.
- Regular attendance and punctuality are required.
- Operate safely in all conditions.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
Directly or indirectly supervise employees, temporary, or contractor workers. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training and engaging employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Requirements:- Minimum of 2 years warehouse, contract packaging supervisory experience required.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Previous forklift experience required. Must obtain and sustain valid forklift license and have ability to train other.
- Calm demeanor and level head for troubleshooting and handling issues as they arise.
- Ability to develop and carry out policies and procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with appropriate equipment or assistance.
- Customer contact and prior experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills required with internal and external stakeholders.
- Must respond well to questions and have ability to read, interpret, and comply with written information and documents.
- Follow safety rules, operations/procedure manuals, and maintenance instructions.
- Sharp attention to detail including accurate data and numbers.
- Ability to organize/prioritize work in order to productively and efficiently meet deadlines.
- Professional presence with the ability to diffuse difficult situations and problem solve effective solutions.
- Ability to work effectively independently and within a team environment.
- Experience with standard Microsoft Office and related technology.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
- Must be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high volume environment with multiple priorities.
- Ability to operate forklift with appropriate training. Valid forklift license/certification or training preferred.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be able to work flexible hours across all shifts, overtime, weekends, etc. based upon business operational demands.
- May be required to operate across various locations.
