Job Description

This position is responsible for overseeing the leadership and operations of our warehouse. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and warehouse management, with the ability to ensure efficient processes and administration across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide customer service support for all documentation, tracing, and 3PL processes.
  • Ensure efficient processes and administration across the organization.
  • Provide back-up support to the Warehouse Supervisor in supervising all warehouse staff.
  • Record all warehouse data, quality, time, and labor.
  • Perform daily order processing.
  • Maintain inventory and supplies.
  • Ship and receive goods and materials.
  • Responsible for safe forklift operation and to assist operations when needed.
  • Support employees in day-to-day operations, tasks, and troubleshooting.
  • Verify orders and track shipments.
  • Schedule daily shipments.
  • Responsible for general compliance, documentation, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Understand SOPs and properly institute them.
  • Ensure shop rate is met while maintaining quality.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally.
  • Actively seek and support continuous improvement activities in process efficiencies, costs, and effectiveness of work.
  • Provide attention to detail and proactively address issues in a timely manner.
  • Provide continuous quality checks and alert management to issues.
  • Regular attendance and punctuality are required.
  • Operate safely in all conditions.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.
  • Follow company policies and procedures.
Supervisory/Management Requirements:

Directly or indirectly supervise employees, temporary, or contractor workers. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training and engaging employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years warehouse, contract packaging supervisory experience required.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Previous forklift experience required. Must obtain and sustain valid forklift license and have ability to train other.
  • Calm demeanor and level head for troubleshooting and handling issues as they arise.
  • Ability to develop and carry out policies and procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with appropriate equipment or assistance.
  • Customer contact and prior experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills required with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Must respond well to questions and have ability to read, interpret, and comply with written information and documents.
  • Follow safety rules, operations/procedure manuals, and maintenance instructions.
  • Sharp attention to detail including accurate data and numbers.
  • Ability to organize/prioritize work in order to productively and efficiently meet deadlines.
  • Professional presence with the ability to diffuse difficult situations and problem solve effective solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively independently and within a team environment.
  • Experience with standard Microsoft Office and related technology.
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
  • Must be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high volume environment with multiple priorities.
  • Ability to operate forklift with appropriate training. Valid forklift license/certification or training preferred.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours across all shifts, overtime, weekends, etc. based upon business operational demands.
  • May be required to operate across various locations.
