Job Summary

American International Group (AIG) is seeking a highly experienced Claims Director to lead our General Liability claims team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for analyzing and resolving complex claims, ensuring timely and cost-effective resolution, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Claims Analysis and Resolution: Lead the analysis and resolution of complex General Liability claims, including property damage and bodily injury claims, to ensure timely and cost-effective resolution.
  • Claims Handling: Develop and implement effective claims handling strategies to minimize exposure and maximize recovery.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of claims professionals to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to handle complex claims.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with customers, agents, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless claims handling and resolution.
Requirements
  • Experience: 10+ years of General Liability claims experience, with a strong background in complex and high-exposure claims.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to analyze complex claims data and develop effective resolution strategies.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as risk management or insurance.
