Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Install Specialist to join our team at Fortis Payment Systems LLC. As an integral part of our organization, you will be responsible for the successful setup and management of various payment systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize available resources and techniques to address and resolve questions from Merchants, Partners, and Colleagues concerning Installs.
  • Maintain foundational knowledge of back-end and front-end relationships, including North-Nashville, Omaha-Nashville, TSYS, and Elavon.
  • Efficiently handle the installation of new accounts/services, such as Credit Card Processing Systems, ACH Processing, and Value Added Services.
  • Occasionally handle the configuration or reprogramming of hardware.
  • Understand the specifics of different file builds, encompassing Retail, Restaurant, MOTO, Internet, and Lodging.
  • Grasp and understand the functionality of the FortisPay Gateway and communicate its features and benefits effectively to Merchants, Agents, and Colleagues.
  • Schedule and manage conversions for PMS/POS or Gateway systems, ensuring a seamless transition for stakeholders.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Capacity to deliver excellent Customer Service with exceptional communication skills.
  • Experience in merchant services is highly desirable but not a prerequisite.
  • Ability to collaborate with team members across different functions.
  • Strong follow-up, attention to details, and organizational skills.
