Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Technical Systems Specialist to join our team at Syntricate Technologies. The ideal candidate will have expertise in IBM MQ and related middleware, with a focus on ensuring high availability and reliability of MQ services. The role involves installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of MQ systems, as well as providing technical support and input into the design of MQ-related projects. The successful candidate will also be responsible for monitoring MQ systems to ensure secure and efficient operation, implementing and maintaining MQ queue managers and other related software, and collaborating with other IT teams for infrastructure design and service management.

The role requires experience with Linux/Unix systems, knowledge of server hardware, networking, and possibly programming skills for integrating MQ with other applications.



Key Responsibilities:

Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of IBM MQ and related middleware

Ensuring high availability and reliability of MQ services

Providing technical support and input into the design of MQ-related projects

Monitoring MQ systems to ensure secure and efficient operation

Implementing and maintaining MQ queue managers and other related software

Collaborating with other IT teams for infrastructure design and service management

Developing and managing systems on a global scale, particularly in environments that require uninterrupted service

Experience with Linux/Unix systems, knowledge of server hardware, networking, and possibly programming skills for integrating MQ with other applications

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of MQ middleware and related technologies, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
