Key Responsibilities

The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring peak performance, security, and reliability. You will spearhead initiatives to transition on-premise systems to Azure, oversee Active Directory environments, and elevate our enterprise networking capabilities.

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Azure Cloud Oversight: Manage the deployment, administration, and scaling of Azure cloud resources to facilitate business applications and services.
  • Migrations from On-Premise: Direct and execute the transition of on-premise systems and applications to the Azure cloud, ensuring minimal disruption and data integrity.
  • Active Directory Management: Administer and sustain Active Directory, encompassing user account management, group policies, and domain services.
  • Enterprise Networking Solutions: Architect, implement, and manage enterprise networking frameworks, guaranteeing robust connectivity, security, and performance.
  • System Monitoring and Upkeep: Establish and maintain monitoring systems to ensure optimal health and performance, promptly addressing any emerging issues.
  • Security and Compliance Assurance: Safeguard all systems and networks, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and best practices.
  • Automation Development: Create and implement automation scripts and tools to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Documentation Maintenance: Generate and uphold comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Collaborative Engagement: Partner closely with development, operations, and security teams to align infrastructure strategies with organizational objectives.

Qualifications

Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience as a SysOps Engineer or in a comparable role, with a strong emphasis on Azure cloud.
  • Extensive background in migrating on-premise systems to cloud environments.
  • Proficient in managing and configuring Active Directory.
  • In-depth knowledge of enterprise networking principles, including routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancing.
  • Skilled in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Strong understanding of security best practices and data protection regulations.
  • Effective communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
