In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with application and infrastructure engineering teams, product managers (PM), quality assurance (QA), and external partners to ensure the security of products.
Your expertise will be crucial in identifying and addressing security challenges, vulnerabilities, and misconfigurations by leveraging your comprehensive understanding of development, infrastructure, and cloud services.
Position Overview:
Role: Lead Cybersecurity Engineer
Location: 100% Remote (Operating in EST hours)
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and assist in mitigating security challenges, misconfigurations, and vulnerabilities related to cloud, data center, and Kubernetes environments.
- Implement new security protocols and update existing measures to safeguard the organization's infrastructure.
- Contribute to the operationalization of security platforms.
Qualifications:
- Experience in one of the following areas: site reliability engineering, security engineering, DevSecOps, or systems engineering.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (preferred) or Amazon Web Services.
- Proficiency in one or more scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, Bash, etc.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code technologies like Terraform or Ansible.
