Core Responsibilities:
1. Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructures on AWS.
2. Work alongside development teams to establish infrastructure requirements and ensure that cloud environments align with application specifications.
3. Implement and manage AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, CloudFormation, among others, adhering to industry best practices.
4. Automate the deployment and management of infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
5. Monitor and enhance the performance, security, and cost-effectiveness of AWS resources and services.
6. Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline the deployment of applications and services within AWS environments.
7. Ensure adherence to security and regulatory standards, including the management of IAM roles, policies, and security groups.
8. Diagnose and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services, providing prompt support to development and operations teams.
9. Establish and uphold backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies for cloud environments.
10. Stay informed about the latest AWS features and services, suggesting enhancements and optimizations for existing infrastructure.
11. Document infrastructure designs, processes, and procedures to promote knowledge sharing and continuity within the team.
12. Offer training and support to fellow team members on AWS best practices and technologies.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of practical experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure management.
- AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or similar are highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Strong background in Linux/Unix systems administration and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline).
- In-depth understanding of networking concepts, including VPCs, subnets, routing, and security groups.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, along with experience deploying containers on AWS.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure challenges.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, ELK stack, Prometheus) for cloud environments.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of best practices for cloud security, data encryption, and compliance.
