Position: Manufacturing Assembly Engineer II

Location: Waterloo, Iowa - Full Time

Productive Resources LLC is looking for a skilled individual to join our engineering team. The selected candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing manufacturing engineering tasks for various projects or processes. This role requires collaboration within a team setting, contributing to either the enterprise product delivery or order fulfillment processes. The scope of projects at this level may vary, involving moderate responsibility or significant contributions to larger projects. Decisions will be made within established parameters and may be subject to review by supervisors or managers. The candidate may also oversee and coordinate work for support staff, contractors, and suppliers.

This full-time role offers indefinite duration with opportunities for professional advancement and further career development within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance and basic troubleshooting for ongoing operations.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data for assigned, recurring tasks.
  • Establish procedures, methods, layouts, tools, costs, documentation, quality plans, and labor standards for modifications to existing operations or new parts and programs.
  • Develop or source tooling and error-proofing solutions for new processes or components.
  • Engage in Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Willingness to work 3rd shift.
  • Strong interpersonal communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Minimum of one year of proven experience in factory support and manufacturing engineering, including knowledge of routings, methods, layouts, tools, costs, capacity planning, methods documentation, maintenance, quality plans, and labor standards.
  • Experience working effectively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with SAP.
  • Knowledge of DC Electric torque tools.
  • Understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
  • Experience with robotics is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology or equivalent experience.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing, robotics, or factory automation is advantageous.
