Job Overview

Volt is seeking a skilled Facilities/Maintenance Engineer II to join our team in Waterloo, IA.

As a Facilities/Maintenance Engineer II, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and performing facilities project and maintenance engineering work for facility infrastructure, production equipment, and processes of moderate to large scope.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engineering designs for facility infrastructure, grounds, and production equipment and processes.
  • Manage projects related to facility infrastructure, production machines, equipment, and processes that support manufacturing and/or distribution operations.
  • Provide troubleshooting and technical support for facility infrastructure and production equipment to ensure smooth production and maintenance operations.
  • Collaborate with internal and external resources to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Maintain project budget cost control through effective project management and cost control systems.

Requirements:

  • Experience with maintenance supervision of skilled trades.
  • CNC machine maintenance experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing facility is preferred.
  • Experience working in a UAW environment is a plus.

Shift: Comfortable working with any shift.

Duration: 12 Months+

Location: Waterloo, IA

Work Schedule: Onsite

Pay rate: $40/hr. to $45/hr.
