Job Summary:

Productive Resources is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer II to join our team at John Deere's facility in Waterloo, IA. As a member of our engineering team, you will plan, coordinate, and perform manufacturing engineering work for projects or processes. This role operates in a team environment within the enterprise product delivery process or the enterprise order fulfillment process.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide support and basic troubleshooting for current operations.

Investigate, gather, and analyze data for specifically assigned, recurring tasks.

Establish routings, methods, layouts, tools, costs, methods documentation, quality plans, and labor standards for revisions to current operations and/or new parts or programs of limited scope.

Develop and/or procure tooling and mistake proofing for new processes and/or new parts.

Participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) teams.

Requirements:

Ability to work 3rd shift.

Skills in interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution.

One or more years of demonstrated factory support and manufacturing engineering knowledge (routings, methods, layouts, tools, costs, capacity plans/line design, methods documentation, maintenance, quality plans, and labor standards, troubleshooting, etc.).

Work experience in a team environment.

Skills in interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution.

Experience with SAP.

Knowledge of DC Electric torque equipment.

Understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).

Robotics experience.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology or related experience.

Previous manufacturing, robotics, factory automation experience a plus.
