Position Summary

The Infrastructure Project Coordinator will take an essential role in managing and supporting various facets of water and sewer infrastructure projects, including construction, maintenance, and repair operations. This role encompasses a wide array of duties, such as accurately evaluating project expenses, preparing competitive proposals, and assisting project teams throughout the construction and maintenance stages. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge in equipment operation, pipe installation, leak repairs, line replacements, lift station rehabilitation, landscaping, equipment handling, electrical systems, and the management of heavy materials. Your leadership and skills will significantly enhance the effective and safe functioning of our treatment facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and direct all construction and maintenance activities across the regions served by CLEARWATER SOLUTIONS LLC.
  • Build and lead a team of field technicians responsible for new construction, repairs, and maintenance to ensure optimal functionality and durability.
  • Manage the financial performance of all construction projects executed by your teams.
  • Conduct site visits to verify that work is executed according to standards.
  • Provide training and mentorship to team members, fostering leadership within your group.
  • Engage with other leaders to discuss company strategies, state-specific needs, and financial matters.
  • Utilize specialized knowledge to accurately estimate costs for water and wastewater construction and maintenance projects, encompassing materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services.
  • Prepare detailed and competitive bids in response to project requests, ensuring compliance with specifications, timelines, and budgetary limits.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to create comprehensive cost estimates and proposals that align with client expectations and goals.
  • Identify potential risks and uncertainties related to project estimates, devising strategies to mitigate risks and improve project viability.
  • Source and assess vendors and subcontractors, obtain competitive pricing, and negotiate terms to ensure cost efficiency and quality.
  • Maintain precise records of project estimates, bids, and associated documentation, providing regular updates and reports to management and project teams as necessary.
  • Address equipment malfunctions swiftly to minimize operational downtime.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance team to schedule and supervise essential repairs.
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment and performing field tasks.
  • Ensure team compliance with safety procedures and the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Follow environmental regulations and company policies to safeguard our natural resources.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with supervisors and team members.
  • Promptly report any issues, adjustments, or equipment malfunctions to the relevant authorities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth workflows and project success.
  • Lead and assist with project estimation, working with other estimators to provide the best opportunities for the team.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, Associate's Degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Additional technical or vocational training in construction, water treatment, or related fields is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with water treatment processes and safe chemical handling practices.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and moving equipment and materials.
  • Proficiency in remote control operation and the capacity to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness in a field environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Promote a collaborative and supportive work atmosphere to maximize productivity.
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions and adapt to changing work schedules when necessary.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in addressing unexpected challenges and adjusting priorities.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
