Specialty Pharmacy Sales Executive

The Specialty Pharmacy Account Executive role is pivotal in driving the growth and maintenance of vital relationships with prescribers, office personnel, and pharmaceutical manufacturers within a designated territory. This position necessitates frequent travel and ongoing communication with regional accounts, as well as participation in industry events that foster territorial development. The success of this role will be evaluated based on account growth, referral rates, and overall satisfaction between prescriber offices and the services provided by Orsini Specialty Pharmacy.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- A minimum of a 4-year college degree is required.
- At least one to three years of experience in healthcare sales is necessary, with a preference for experience in rare diseases and/or specialty pharmacy services.
- Experience in the Hepatology and/or Endocrinology sectors is highly desirable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiar with CRM systems.
- Proven ability to build relationships and sell to healthcare professionals and office staff.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of simplifying complex topics for diverse audiences.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent Orsini Specialty Pharmacy and promote services to targeted accounts.
- Cultivate and sustain long-term, high-quality relationships with specialty pharmacy decision-makers at prescriber offices.
- Collaborate with regional manufacturer and trade account representatives to educate them on Orsini Specialty Pharmacy's offerings.
- Maintain regular communication and travel to engage with local stakeholders to enhance territory activity.
- Address provider inquiries regarding prescription referrals to Orsini Specialty Pharmacy, acting as a liaison between providers and the organization.
- Work cross-functionally to provide market insights and stay informed about the evolving portfolio of Orsini Specialty Pharmacy solutions.
- Utilize commercial tools and dashboards for tracking activities and growth metrics (CRM, targeting, product insights, etc.).
- Develop expertise within the Orsini Specialty Pharmacy teams and departments to effectively communicate both internally and externally, delivering value to clients.
