About the Role

The Specialty Pharmacy Account Representative position is a key role within our organization, responsible for driving business growth and development in the pharmaceutical industry. As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key prescribers, office staff, and pharmaceutical manufacturer trade relationships in your designated territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect, develop, and grow key accounts in your designated territory
  • Maintain long-term and high-quality relationships with specialty pharmacy decision makers at prescriber offices
  • Engage with regional manufacturer and trade account representatives to educate them on our solutions and services
  • Communicate frequently and travel regularly to engage with local touch points within the region to maintain and grow territory activity
  • Troubleshoot provider matters concerning prescription referrals sent to our organization
  • Engage internally and cross-functionally to provide market feedback and learn about our evolving portfolio of solutions and products
  • Consistently use commercial tools and dashboards for activity and growth activity tracking
  • Become a subject matter expert in our organization's teams and departments to communicate both internally and externally to drive value to clients
Requirements
  • Minimum 4-year college graduate required
  • Minimum one to three years of healthcare selling experience. Experience in rare disease and/or specialty pharmacy or related services is preferred.
  • Experience in the Hepatology and/or Endocrinology markets preferred.
  • Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with CRM systems
  • Strong track record of building relationships or selling to healthcare professionals and/or healthcare office staff.
  • Dynamic communication skills with an ability to take complex topics and distill to appropriate audience
  • Ability to travel frequently throughout the territory
