Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Collection Specialist to join our team at OTC Industrial Technologies. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, achieving cash collection targets, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of clients, utilizing third-party systems to document effort and secure payment on receivables.
• Respond timely to incoming customer emails and requests, ensuring prompt resolution of issues.
• Achieve monthly cash collection targets and overdue debt targets, while maintaining a customer-first approach.
• Process credit card payments, note disputed items, and follow up on unapplied cash or unused credits.
• Collaborate with internal contacts to enhance collection efforts and resolve customer issues.
• Identify and alert management on uncollectible accounts or potential fraudulent activity, minimizing write-offs.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects to drive efficiency and enhance customer experiences.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of B2B collections experience, with a strong understanding of billing procedures and collection techniques.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office applications, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a customer-first attitude and fair approach to collections.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good organizational skills and attention to detail.
