Customer Service Representative, Sales and Product Expert

Key Responsibilities:
As a Sales and Service Agent, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and sales expertise to our members. You will be the face of Metro Credit Union, representing the organization in a positive manner while processing transactions accurately and efficiently.
You will be trained to meet service levels and operational metrics, and will identify cross-selling opportunities to enhance the overall experience of our members. You will respond to member inquiries through various channels, including telephone, chat, and e-banking.
Account Transactions:
You will assist members with account transactions, including transfers, account changes, and ATM and Debit card inquiries and servicing requests. You will also resolve service problems and complaints by determining the root cause, selecting and explaining the best solution, and following up to ensure resolution.
Confidentiality and Security:
You will maintain member confidence and protect bank operations by properly authenticating members and keeping member information confidential. You will also answer loan-related questions, including escrow balance inquiries, titles, loan statuses, payoff quotes, and payment history.
Sales and Referral Programs:
You will contribute to sales and referral programs, including department sales goals. You will identify cross-sale opportunities, recommend products and services to enhance the overall relationship between members and Metro, and inform members of new services and product promotions.
Training and Development:
You will maintain a thorough knowledge of all credit union products by attending all training and informational meetings and incorporating the knowledge and skills into daily responsibilities. You will also be trained on additional secondary skills and assist in other departments as required by the Universal Service program.
