BryceTech is seeking a highly skilled Consequence Management Advisor to support the DHS FEMA, Office of Response and Recovery, CBRN program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency management, with a focus on CBRN operations and consequence management.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate with the Department of State, FEMA, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation to incorporate the CMCU into consequence management support to relevant foreign activities.
- Update CMCU/DEST doctrine, including handbooks, guides, job aids, position descriptions, program and training and exercise plans as directed.
- Propose doctrine updates as needed.
- Collect exercise player comments from participants following exercises, with multiple internal and interagency exercises per year.
- Produce a Quick Look Report within 1 week of exercise completion.
- Develop solutions to program gaps.
- Staff solutions for concurrence as directed.
- Update crisis decision aids with decision points, references, authorities, coordination structures, and response timelines.
- Develop staff synchronization template.
- Review orders received by the agency to identify essential, specified, and implied tasks.
- Update a CMCU five-year training and exercise plan that progressively stresses the team to build capabilities.
- Provide support in the development of the DEST Program (DEST 2.0) concept by working collaboratively with FEMA DEST Program Management and other FEMA personnel, relevant interagency members, and the FBI to develop standard operating procedures and memorandums of understanding and agreement necessary to accomplish tasks associated with a PPD-25 scenario.
- Schedule and prepare DEST working group meetings with such products as agendas as well as capturing meeting minutes and due-outs.
- Bachelor's degree in a related area of expertise.
- Five (5) years of related work experience. Two (2) years of related experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
- Previous experience supporting DHS FEMA is required and DHS FEMA CBRN experience is highly desirable.
- TS/SCI clearance.
