Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Globus Medical. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for working with Product Development teams to achieve smooth new product introductions, addressing life cycle issues, and providing technical support to the manufacturing effort.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Product Development teams to ensure seamless new product introductions
  • Work with cross-functional sustaining teams to address life cycle issues, continuous improvement, reliability, and cost reductions for existing products
  • Provide technical support to the manufacturing effort to identify root cause and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Interface with Quality Assurance/Quality Control to ensure products and processes comply with regulatory requirements
  • Develop and maintain procedures and equipment used for manufacturing medical robotic and navigation products
  • Develop and release test fixtures and assembly aids for use in manufacturing
  • Generate change orders to update documentation and BOMs for released products
  • Demonstrate effective writing skills for drafting SOPs, operation and maintenance procedures, protocols, reports, process validations, and other manufacturing-related documentation
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (0–2 years) or Associate's Degree (2-4 years)
  • Familiarity with a variety of industry concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as a key contributor in small teams
  • Excellent oral, written, and graphical communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Teams
  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
  • Experience in the medical device field
  • Experience in robotics
  • Experience in Optics
  • Experience in evaluating precise 3D spatial problems
  • Experience with data analysis and KPIs
  • Familiarity with ISO requirements, FDA regulations, and cGMP's
