Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Powertrain Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at CrossFire Group. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and developing manufacturing processes, improving production efficiency, and ensuring quality control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Development: Conduct research and design manufacturing processes, including production flow, assembly methods, and production and test equipment.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to assembly process flow, including process control plans.
  • Problem Resolution: Analyze and resolve problems related to manufacturing processes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Project Management: Manage projects related to manufacturing process improvements, and ensure timely completion.
  • Employee Training: Provide training to employees on new manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Quality Control: Ensure compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements, and develop and document quality systems for new programs.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and implement quick win strategies as part of the GEP Management Operating System (MOS).
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: Five plus years of experience in automotive assembly (powertrain assembly preferred).
  • Technical Skills: Working knowledge of MS office applications (MS Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint), AutoCAD proficiency, and PLC programming and troubleshooting experience.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem analysis and problem resolution skills.
