Hospice Administrator Job Description

As a Hospice Administrator with Interim HealthCare, you will play a vital role in leading our team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care and support to our clients. Your expertise in healthcare administration will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our hospice services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a liaison between the owner/governing body and our hospice team, providing regular reports and updates.
  • Develop and implement budgeting processes and accounting systems to achieve financial goals.
  • Manage information systems that support the operation of our hospice services.
  • Ensure patient/family access to management staff during all hours of operation.
  • Ensure hospice employees are aware of relevant laws and regulations.
  • Respond to internal and external reviews and findings.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
  • RN licensure.
  • Hospice experience strongly preferred.
  • Training and experience in healthcare administration.
  • Three years of experience in healthcare management within the last five years.
  • Experience working with financial statements and being responsible for the profitability of a business unit, preferred.
