Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Compensation Analyst to join our team at Northwestern Memorial Healthcare. As a key member of our compensation team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing compensation strategies that drive business results and support our organization's mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct market reviews and provide recommendations for compensation adjustments, including analysis of internal and external job descriptions and compensation data.
  • Develop and implement merit programs, including gathering and summarizing external market data and trends, creating communication materials, and reviewing salary plan ranges.
  • Design and manage incentive and special pay programs, including the annual all-employee bonus program.
  • Review and approve job descriptions, determine salary plans and grades, and own incoming requests for job evaluations and grading reviews.
  • Conduct market research and provide summary findings to support the design and review of current Total Rewards and Talent Programs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Finance, or Business.
  • Minimum of 3 years of compensation experience, with significant experience in HR or business considered in lieu of direct compensation experience.
  • Operating knowledge of PeopleSoft or similar HRIS software.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Superior project and time management skills.
  • Advanced written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Board presentation experience and PowerPoint skills.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) designation.
  • Master's degree.
