Position Details

Compensation: $24.50 / Hour

Work Schedule: Full Time Overnight

This position requires a DoD Secret Clearance. A valid driver's license is necessary, and candidates should be comfortable with active duties.

As a Cleared Security Officer at Allied Universal, you will handle sensitive information and bear the responsibility of safeguarding classified data and personnel. This role includes specialized training in security protocols tailored to your clearance level, promoting skill enhancement and career advancement in the security sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional security services, ensuring the safety of personnel, property, and sensitive information with professionalism.
  • Conduct regular patrols within and around the premises on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to protect individuals, assets, and classified information.
  • Welcome guests and employees, escorting visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points.
  • Adhere to site-specific performance manuals and post orders; report safety issues, security breaches, and unusual occurrences through written and verbal communication to clients and/or fellow security personnel.
  • Respond to and evaluate security alarms or emergency situations.
  • Act as a first responder during emergencies.
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • Possession of a Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance appropriate for the position.
  • Licensing requirements may vary based on state and/or local laws and regulations and may be necessary prior to employment.
  • Must meet one or more of the following criteria:
    • At least three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense-cleared site.
    • Prior military service.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding customer service abilities.
  • Intermediate computer skills to utilize advanced, wireless technology at client-specific locations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous law enforcement or armed security experience.
  • Associate's degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field.
