Position Summary:
This role is pivotal in driving and implementing internal control practices and operational excellence within a Line of Business (LOB) or Enterprise Control Function (ECF). Key duties include assessing global AML KYC standards for entity clients in compliance with local regulations, engaging with clients to verify and update AML KYC criteria. Responsibilities also encompass monitoring and evaluating controls, as well as establishing quality assurance and quality control measures within the LOB or ECF by analyzing data to identify, track, and report issues and improvements for remediation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • In-depth understanding of global regulatory frameworks and related products/services
  • Act as the primary contact for client engagement, consultation, and coordination
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, AML operations, Treasury/Credit, and global partners to ensure timely and quality delivery of CDD requirements
  • Strong background in operational risk and compliance, knowledge of Risk Framework (QA Standard), and understanding of AML requirements, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
  • Provide peer coaching
Additional Responsibilities/Requirements:
  • Assist in monitoring and testing controls by analyzing data to identify issues and recommend improvements
  • Conduct QA activities, including executing controls, managing cases, and reporting outcomes
  • Support remediation initiatives, reporting, and ad-hoc systems testing
  • Facilitate the overall management and research required for regulatory examinations, internal audits, and other monitoring reviews
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree and/or familiarity with legal documentation and CDD preferred
  • Strong strategic and critical thinking skills with the ability to align analytical work with client needs and strategic goals
  • Proven organizational abilities and capacity to execute tasks and projects independently
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook
  • Client-facing experience preferred
