The Falls at Cordingly Dam is seeking a qualified and experienced Director of Facilities Operations to become an integral part of our professional team at Benchmark Senior Living.

The Director of Facilities Operations will take charge of all maintenance and housekeeping activities within our assisted living community. This role requires a hands-on approach to facility operations, alongside administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating communication and coordination among staff to ensure timely repairs and modifications to buildings and equipment systems.
  • Providing expert technical support, product information, and quality assurance guidance.
  • Developing and overseeing a preventative maintenance program that enhances the well-being and aesthetic appeal for both residents and staff.
  • Ensuring compliance with OSHA and fire safety regulations.
  • Executing additional maintenance tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of applicable life safety regulations.
  • Proven track record in managing a successful maintenance and housekeeping department.
  • Experience in a facilities management role.
  • Familiarity with proper handling of biohazardous waste.
  • Availability to work a Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday schedule.
