Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Front Desk Operations: Greet and assist residents, staff, and visitors, maintaining a professional and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Incident Reporting: Accurately record and maintain a daily log of complaints and incidents, providing critical information for staff and management.
  • Client Support: Assist residents with daily tasks, provide information, and facilitate communication with outside agencies.
  • Crisis Management: Respond to emergency situations, following established protocols and procedures to ensure resident safety.
  • Outreach and Engagement: Develop and implement strategies to engage residents in life skills training, substance abuse prevention, and overall health promotion.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with completing complaint forms, work orders, and other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Communication: Answer telephones, relay messages, and maintain accurate records of incidents and resident activity.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Fireguard (F-01) Certification required within the first 6 months of employment.
  • Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and/or training and experience.
  • Experience: Previous experience in permanent or transitional housing, community facilities, or related social services areas.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team environment, and sensitivity to diverse populations.
  • Language: Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are a plus.
