Job Opportunity

The State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track clinical professor in the area of immigration law. This is a three-year contract, indefinitely renewable if appropriate progress is achieved, with advance to ranks of Clinical Associate Professor and Clinical Professor in subsequent contract terms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach all aspects of a clinic
  • Develop and provide curriculum, as well as supervise services to clients
  • Teach additional courses with an experiential focus
  • Fulfill service responsibilities related to program, departmental, and university affiliations
Qualifications
  • J.D. degree and at least three years of practice experience, with strong evidence of promise in law school experiential teaching and clinical student supervision
  • Preference for candidates currently licensed to practice law in New York State or eligible to be admitted to practice in New York State on motion without examination
