Nursing Professor

We are seeking a highly qualified Nursing Professor to join our team at South Puget Sound Community College. This is a full-time tenure-track position primarily in the evening/weekend program.

• Teach nursing courses in a variety of formats, including online, hybrid, and face-to-face.
• Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the college's nursing program goals and outcomes.
• Assess student learning and provide feedback to students.
• Participate in departmental and college-wide committees and initiatives.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current in the field of nursing education.

• Master's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
• Three years of clinical experience.
• Current unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse in Washington.
• Meet clinical agency requirements, which may include background clearance and immunizations.

• Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) certification.
• Experience working with diverse student populations.
