Licensed Speech Language Pathologist

COMPENSATION
Salary range is $65,000 to $80,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience (based on a 12-month role).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide speech therapy services to students with unique needs.
- Conduct pediatric speech evaluations to assess language acquisition, articulation, and oral motor skills.
- Prepare comprehensive assessments and reports detailing students' needs along with suggested treatment plans, objectives, and progress documentation.
- Deliver individualized and group therapy sessions targeting specific language and pragmatic skills.
- Train team members on effective techniques and methodologies.
- Oversee therapy and educational staff to ensure the integration of appropriate speech therapy strategies within instructional practices; assess the effectiveness of programs and make necessary adjustments.
- Enhance professional skills through participation in staff development and continuing education opportunities.
- Engage in collaborative meetings and training sessions to discuss student progress and strategies.
- Present case studies to staff biannually, demonstrating the integration of language goals within the DIR framework.
- Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP).
- Current license to practice SLP in the relevant state.
- Certification in TSHH/TSSLD.
- Familiarity with the DIRFloortime model is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Capacity to build and maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues, and families.
