Job Title: Psychologist Child Abuse

We are seeking a skilled psychologist to join our team at the Dorothy B. Hersh Child Protection Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing supervised services to clients, including assessment, direct intervention, and consultation to medical staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess parents, children, and perpetrators of child abuse
  • Provide direct intervention, including short-term therapy, group therapy, and crisis intervention
  • Consult with medical staff, including physicians, nurses, and social workers
  • Participate in team meetings, grand rounds, and training sessions
  • Develop and implement programs to address child abuse in the community
Requirements:
  • Doctorate in child clinical, developmental, school, or pediatric psychology
  • NJ license or license eligible required
  • 2 years of experience in assessment, child abuse, treatment, and consultation
  • Bilingual ability (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
