The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developmental pediatrics and experience in conducting psychological and psychosocial evaluations of children, adolescents, and their caretakers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and psychosocial evaluations of children and adolescents in cases of child maltreatment and abuse.
  • Provide consultation, crisis intervention counseling, and expert testimony in civil and criminal court cases.
  • Develop and deliver educational training programs for community and state agencies on topics related to child maltreatment, abuse, and trauma.

Requirements

  • Doctorate in child clinical, developmental, school, or pediatric psychology.
  • NJ license or license eligible required (supervision by a licensed psychologist will be available).
  • Two (2) years of experience in assessment, child abuse, treatment of parents and children, and consultation.
  • Bilingual ability (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
