We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Life Anew Behavioral Health. As a contractor, you will have the flexibility to work on your own schedule while providing high-quality care to our clients.

Job Summary:

We are a Behavioral Health Provider seeking a Registered Nurse for a contract position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient monitoring and be able to work independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct health appraisals on clients and regularly assess their physical conditions
  • Aid nurse practitioners and physicians as necessary
  • Evaluate and observe client's physical conditions
  • Assist clients with treatment plans prescribed by nurse practitioner and/or physician
  • Administer and monitor medications
  • Monitor client vitals
  • Provide education on prescribed medication, physical health, nutrition, and self-care
  • Coordinate care and services with pharmacy, other physicians, or referring agencies on behalf of client
  • Respond quickly to complete nurse practitioner and physician orders
  • Communicate prescribed services and status to client (and client family as appropriate) in a timely fashion
  • Participate in client care team meetings
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of medications prescribed
  • Complete release forms or client medical paperwork as requested
  • Assist with medication refills on behalf of nurse practitioners or physicians
  • Complete all client documentation accurately and in a timely fashion

Requirements:

  • RN Licensure in the state of Ohio
  • Background check prior to hire
  • Individual NPI Number and Medicaid Provider Number required to start work
