Job Summary

Cumberland River Behavioral Health, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Supported Employment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in assisting individuals with developmental disabilities to achieve their employment goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-the-job support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized employment plans to help individuals achieve their career goals.
  • Collaborate with case managers, behavior specialists, and therapists to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Provide training and education to individuals at the job site and in other areas as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with all staff members involved with the individual.
  • Ensure confidentiality and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Complete all paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Advocate for the individual's rights and needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
  • Ability to work well with diverse personalities and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment, tact, diplomacy, and compassion when problem-solving or handling conflicts.
