**Assistant General Manager Position Overview**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an Assistant General Manager for our Asian-themed restaurant located inside a boutique hotel. **Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assist the General Manager in the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring seamless execution of our service standards.
  • Manage and train front-of-house and back-of-house staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Ensure efficient service and high-quality food standards are maintained at all times, meeting the expectations of our discerning guests.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed, maintaining optimal stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability, driving business growth and success.
  • Create weekly schedules for staff to ensure proper coverage during operating hours, ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Handle customer complaints or concerns in a timely manner with professionalism, resolving issues and exceeding guest expectations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant according to health codes, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our guests and staff.
  • Collaborate with other departments within the hotel to ensure exceptional guest experiences, driving loyalty and retention.
  • Conduct regular meetings with staff to communicate updates, address issues, and provide feedback, promoting open communication and continuous improvement.

**Qualifications:**

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or food industry, with a proven track record of success.
  • Knowledge of Asian cuisine and culture preferred, but not required.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team, driving results and excellence.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with staff, guests, and stakeholders.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets while maintaining high-quality standards, driving business growth and success.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a willingness to adapt to changing business needs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with experience in Point of Sale (POS) systems a plus.
