SUMMARY

The Customer Service Associate is responsible for processing payments for sales, services, and parts transactions while playing a crucial role in fostering customer satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The following are key responsibilities of this position. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.

  1. Welcomes customers at the service counter in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Calculates customer invoices accurately.
  3. Accepts cash, checks, and credit card payments from customers, ensuring proper documentation of amounts received.
  4. Issues change and provides receipts to customers.
  5. Processes cash refunds or credit notes for returned items.
  6. Maintains the cash drawer in an organized manner.
  7. Conducts daily reconciliation of the cash drawer.
  8. Directs customers with inquiries regarding services, additional maintenance, or repairs to the appropriate personnel.
  9. Addresses customer complaints with professionalism and tact, referring unresolved issues to the designated team members for resolution.
