Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Specialist to join our team at Women In Need, Inc. This role will be responsible for designing and delivering training programs that meet the organization's needs, as well as managing and administering the use of our Learning Management System (LMS).

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design and delivery, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to assess organizational developmental needs and drive training initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop training programs and materials that meet the organization's needs.
  • Manage and administer the use of the LMS system, including training users and troubleshooting common issues.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to assess organizational developmental needs and drive training initiatives.
  • Monitor staff participation in all learning opportunities and report on key performance indicators.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Two to three years of experience supporting managers with their training needs.
  • Familiarization with LMS management and utilization (knowledge of Docebo a plus).
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SHRM-CP or SCP certification.
