Job Title: Medical Physicist Assistant - PRN

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a highly skilled Medical Physicist Assistant to join our team in the Department of Radiation Oncology. As a key member of our team, you will work under the general supervision of the Chief Medical Physicist and other qualified Medical Physicists to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development and implementation of radiation therapy treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with radiation oncologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as physics, biology, or a related field.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in radiation oncology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
