Overview

Join our dedicated team at New Communities Inc. as a Housekeeper, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our senior residents. This position is perfect for individuals at any skill level, and we are eager to welcome new team members.

Position Summary:
As a Housekeeper in our assisted living community, you will contribute to creating a clean and welcoming environment for our residents. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Dusting and polishing furniture
  • Sweeping and mopping floors
  • Maintaining restroom cleanliness
  • Replenishing supplies as needed
  • Assisting with laundry for residents
Additionally, we offer opportunities for cross-training as a Personal Support Specialist (PSS) for those interested in pursuing a career in healthcare.

Compensation:
Pay rates are based on various factors including position, shift, certifications, and experience, with a range starting at $ /hr.

We are looking for part-time team members to work from 7 am to 3:30 pm, including every other weekend.

Qualifications:
  • Preferred one year of experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or GED preferred, but not mandatory
  • Effective communication skills with residents and coworkers, primarily in English
